I generally recommend treatment once a week for 6 to 12 weeks depending on the degree of imbalances and the length of time the symptoms have been in place.
I asses your situation at an initial consultation, and suggest a treatment protocol that will be appropriate to your concerns. Allowing appropriate time for acupuncture to reach the root of your symptoms is important. In addition, we take time to discuss your overall health and any other concerns you may have in addition to your main complaint. People often find that the support of lifestyle changes and acupuncture improves their overall health in ways they had not expected.
